A Six-Week Journey Through the Lectionary

How do we read and interpret the Bible, as Lutherans?

How do we read and interpret the Bible, as Lutherans? Join Rev. Dave Whetter and Rev. Janice Hawley for a six-week study using the upcoming Sunday lectionary readings as our guide. Together, we will explore how Lutheran theology, grace, law and gospel, context, tradition, and our own questions shape the way we understand Scripture. This is an opportunity to go beyond simply asking, “What does the Bible say?” and to ask, “How do we faithfully interpret what the Bible says?” All are welcome!

Wednesdays, September 9^th–October 14^th, 10:30-12:00 AM in the sanctuary.
