Rev. Ted Mosher
Pastor
Pastor Ted is a second career pastor, graduating from Wartburg Theological Seminary in May 2008. Born and raised in central Iowa, he graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in accounting. A 21-year career in the medical malpractice insurance industry at various levels of underwriting management was interrupted by God’s call to ministry. In addition to spending time with his wife and two daughters, Pastor Ted enjoys a good conversation, a good cup of coffee, and a good book.
Thad Reist
Thad has been serving as GSLC’s pianist and organist since 2017. He began his musical education taking piano lessons at the age of six from a nun at Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from K-State University where he studied both piano ad organ and participated in the men’s glee club. Thad also plays guitar and bass, and performs in a local band called Houseproud. During the week, Thad works at Reuter Organ Company making organ pipes and building, installing and servicing pipe organs like the Reuter organ at GSLC. When he’s not playing music, Thad enjoys grilling and smoking meat, wine tasting, and watching football, basketball and Star Trek.
